Full Card Revealed For ONE Friday Fights 17 On May 19
ONE Championship has confirmed another huge card for its latest weekly outing at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium this Friday, May 19
ONE Friday Fights 17 will feature nine exciting Muay Thai contests, as well as a trio of mixed martial arts bouts that will open the show at the iconic venue in Bangkok, Thailand, in Asia primetime.
At the top of the bill, Duangsompong Jitmuangnon returns for his second ONE Friday Fights main event, as he faces newcomer Pompetch PK Saenchai in a 133-pound catchweight Muay Thai encounter.
Duangsompong will look to build on his hard-fought debut victory over Batman Or Atchariya, and with two of the best gyms in the world represented, fans will be expecting some high-level striking action.
Another bout that’s sure to pique the interest of Muay Thai aficionados is the bantamweight rematch between Komawut FA Group and Avatar PK Saenchai, who originally clashed at ONE Friday Fights 11.
Komawut won their epic first battle by the narrowest of split decisions, and if their second meeting holds anywhere near as much excitement, viewers will be in for a thrilling ride.
Following his first-round TKO of Chusap Sor Salacheep at ONE Friday Fights 10 in March, Rak Erawan is back for another appearance.
This time, the Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion will square off against debuting striker Mahasamut Nayokgungmuangpet in a 116-pound catchweight Muay Thai affair.
On top of those all-Thai spectacles, the international matchups on the card look set to deliver some fiery encounters.
Yodlekpet Or Atchariya is back for a third time – and on the hunt for his third stoppage against Canadian-Bosnian slugger Dennis Puric.
Plus, Road to ONE Mongolia winner Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu is looking for another triumph over seasoned Filipino MMA competitor Rocky Bactol.
