Kompet Sitsarawatsuer kicks Kongchai Chanaidonmueang at ONE Friday Fights 114

The world’s largest martial arts organization returns to Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, this Friday, May 29, and fans tuning in live in Asia primetime can expect a stacked night of action.

ONE Friday Fights 156 features nine bouts across Muay Thai, kickboxing, and MMA, with each athlete on the card hunting a coveted US$100,000 contract and spot on ONE’s global roster.

In the main event, decorated Thai veteran Kongsuk Sitsarawatsuer puts his three-fight winning streak on the line against hard-pressing Uzbekistani newcomer Khakimov Anisjon in a bantamweight Muay Thai showdown.

The 25-year-old Kongsuk is one of the most accomplished fighters to have competed in the weekly series. His grandfather introduced him to Muay Thai at 10, and after losing his first fight, he channeled his determination into a career that yielded two Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Titles.

He heads into Friday off the back of a bonus-winning stoppage at ONE Friday Fights 146 and aims to push himself closer to a six-figure contract.

Across from him, Anisjon arrives from Uzbekistan making his ONE debut. An aggressive forward-pressure fighter who builds his offense around his straight right and powerful body kicks, he carries himself into the ring with a point to prove against one of the division’s most established names.

In the co-main event, Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion Mongkoldetlek Por Pim-on squares off with Russian technician Ruslan Tuktarov in a bantamweight Muay Thai contest.

The 30-year-old Mongkoldetlek is a battle-tested veteran whose ONE resume includes appearances on the organization’s biggest cards. A counter-striker with sharp kicks, impeccable timing, and a suffocating clinch game, he heads into Friday looking to add to a body of work that already includes victories over world-class opposition.

Across from him, the 26-year-old Tuktarov makes his ONE debut out of Tiger Muay Thai with a 14-3 professional record and the technical tools to cause an upset. A counter fighter who uses footwork and timing to lure opponents into range before punishing them with accurate kicks and combinations, the Russian heads to Bangkok ready to make an immediate impact.

In other action, Thailand’s Petmuangsri Torfunfarm takes on Cape Verde’s Diogo Miguel Silva in flyweight kickboxing. Silva arrives as the first fighter from Cape Verde to compete in ONE Championship, carrying a devastating low kick that has become his trademark weapon.

Songpandin Chor Kaewwiset meets Guanyu Sor Ratchanikul in flyweight Muay Thai, Singharat SitKhuntab takes on Italy’s Vincenzo Esposito in bantamweight Muay Thai, while Payak Saksatoon faces Tandiao Por Prawit in atomweight Muay Thai.

Petbangsaray Por Aowtalaybangsaray and Wanchana Bomuangpan run it back in a bantamweight Muay Thai rematch, while India’s Monjit Yein takes on Tajikistan’s Parviz Khamidzhonov in a strawweight MMA matchup. Finally, Japan’s Yoshida Kosei and Vietnam’s Hoang Gia Dai open the card in flyweight kickboxing.
