Chamuaktong Fightermuaythai has officially arrived in ONE Super Series.

The 29-year-old Thai made his grand premiere at ONE: REIGN OF KINGS, which broadcast from the Mall Of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines, on Friday, 27 July, and he did not disappoint.

In a spectacular performance, reminiscent of his classic bouts in Thailand’s most prestigious stadiums, he defeated the Netherlands’ Brown Pinas via unanimous decision.

The first round of the Muay Thai bout saw an aggressive Pinas moving forward behind furious punching combinations. Chamuaktong, however, opted to lay back, and he countered his taller foe with well-placed body kicks.

Despite a height and reach advantage, the Dutch striker was intent on playing the aggressor. He put the pressure on Chamuaktong in an intense battle of attrition between the two talented competitors.

In the second round, both men started off locked in a clinch, where Chamuaktong – a Lumpinee Stadium and Rajadamnern Stadium World Champion – immediately connected on three sharp right elbows, and a series of punishing knees to the body.

At this point, the Thai ditched the counter-striking role he played in the opening frame, and decided to take the action to Pinas. As for the 25-year-old Amsterdam, Netherlands resident, he slowed down, and became more cautious of his rival’s power.

The third and final round was all Chamuaktong, as the Thai warrior took complete control of the bout and remained in attack mode until the end of the 70.6-kilogram catch weight affair.

He kept Pinas on his bicycle for the final three minutes of the contest, and constantly threatened to end matters with his unbridled power. The Dutch striker, however, showed tremendous heart and made it to the final bell.

All three judges scored the bout in favor of Chamuaktong, who moves his record to 145-34-1 and positions himself as a serious contender for a ONE Super Series World Title.
