Bi Nguyen Looks Forward To ‘Underdog’ Role Against Stamp

ONE Championship women’s atomweight Bi Nguyen

Bi “Killer Bee” Nguyen is relishing her role as a foil for Thailand’s Stamp Fairtex at ONE: MASTERS OF FATE.

This Friday, 8 November, the Vietnamese-American women’s atomweight will give the ONE Atomweight Kickboxing and Muay Thai World Champion her the biggest test of her mixed martial arts career so far in a main card bout in Manila, Philippines.

Though Stamp has looked sensational with a pair of finishes in her new sport, those are her only two contests under the global ruleset, whereas Nguyen has more than four times her experience.

However, in this exclusive interview with Mitch “The Dragon” Chilson, the 30-year-old from Heritage Muay Thai in Houston, Texas reveals that she believes she is the underdog for this main card match-up at the Mall Of Asia Arena.

Rather than seeing that as a negative, Nguyen told the ONE Championship color commentator it is exactly the kind of motivation she needs, and she went on to make a bold prediction about the outcome of the contest.

Check out the full video to find out what result she forecasts for Friday, as well as her thoughts on an emotional win in her last bout, and her recent charitable work outside the Circle.
