ONE Championship landed in Yokohama on Saturday, September 12, bringing 10 electrifying kickboxing, Muay Thai, and MMA bouts to the Japanese city for ONE SAMURAI 3.
The September edition of the Japanese monthly event series delivered heart-pounding action throughout the night, with devastating knockouts, a one-arm rear-naked choke submission, and hard-fought decisions that showcased the incredible talent.
In the main event, reigning ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Nadaka Yoshinari made an impressive kickboxing debut against Har Ling Om. The striking excellence of Nadaka proved too much for his Myanmar-bred opponent, as he tagged him at will en route to a convincing unanimous decision victory.
The co-main event witnessed a devastating reminder of why former ONE Flyweight MMA World Champion Yuya “Little Piranha” Wakamatsu was once the division’s most dominant figure. Wakamatsu put on a punishing display against South African Willie “White Lion” van Rooyen, unleashing relentless attacks that forced the ringside doctor to stop the contest in round two.
Elsewhere on the card, Nadaka’s cousin Shimon Yoshinari continued his flawless promotional campaign with another decisive performance. The younger Yoshinari knocked out Thai sensation Suablack Tor Pran49 in thrilling fashion, claiming yet another victory and maintaining his unbeaten status in ONE Championship.
