3 Bouts That Could Steal The Show At ONE Fight Night 39

Iranian striker Mohammad Siasarani kicks "Smokin" Jo Nattawut

ONE Championship kicks off its 2026 U.S. primetime events calendar at Bangkok’s iconic Lumpinee Stadium with ONE Fight Night 39: Rambolek vs. Dayakaev on Prime Video, which goes down live this Friday, January 23.

This card is filled with captivating battles spread across MMA, Muay Thai, kickboxing, and submission grappling, and it promises to build upon what has already been an electric start to 2026.

A pair of ferocious bantamweight Muay Thai knockout artists meet in the main event, as Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon squares off against Abdulla “Smash Boy” Dayakaev in a clash that has fireworks written all over it.

Also, a can’t-miss all-American showdown in the submission grappling ranks unfolds, as promotional newcomers Helena Crevar and Teshya Noelani Alo lock horns in a bantamweight tilt that should produce high-level technique and non-stop action from the opening bell.

Beyond these marquee attractions, the supporting lineup features compelling matchups that have the potential to steal the show. Here are three bouts that fans won’t want to miss at ONE Fight Night 39.

#1 Kongthoranee Sor Sommai Vs. Asadula Imangazaliev

Kongthoranee Sor Sommai never fails to put on a show, and his motivation to perform will be at a whole new level when he shares the ring with undefeated Russian slugger Asadula Imangazaliev in a flyweight Muay Thai matchup.

The Thai veteran enters this battle on a two-bout skid. Though he failed to leave the ring with victories in his battle with Aslamjon Ortikov last October or in his rematch with Nong-O Hama in May 2025, the former two-time Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Champion still made life difficult for both men and proved his credentials at the highest level.

A win here would set the 29-year-old back on track toward his dreams of wrapping the vacant ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Title around his waist.

But standing in the way of his 73rd career triumph is a rising force that has lived up to the hype and more.

Imangazaliev owns a perfect 10-0 career record. What’s more, he has earned six of those victories during his time at ONE Friday Fights, which includes five highlight-reel stoppages.

Most recently, the 22-year-old delivered a right high kick that shut down “The Angel Warrior” Panpayak Jitmuangnon in just over two minutes, thus earning a coveted US$100,000 contract and a spot on the promotion’s global roster.

The Russian will enter this bout brimming with confidence and hunting for another knockout. However, Kongthoranee’s hardy chin, battle-tested toughness, and explosive style will make life difficult for the unbeaten contender.

With contrasting experience levels and equally dangerous finishing ability, this clash has all the ingredients for an unforgettable firefight at ONE Fight Night 39.

#2 Mohammad Siasarani Vs. Pedro Dantas

Two relentless finishers are set to trade leather when Iranian powerhouse Mohammad Siasarani collides with Brazilian wrecking ball Pedro “Guerreiro” Dantas in a featherweight kickboxing battle.

Siasarani opens his 2026 account fresh off attaining a coveted six-figure contract by knocking out former ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Title challenger “Smokin” Jo Nattawut last month. That spectacular finish capped a four-bout winning streak that has established the 23-year-old as a name to watch.

The Iranian sensation only knows one gear – attack. His savage yet calculated pressure and relentless offensive output will test every ounce of Dantas’ resolve when they meet at ONE Fight Night 39.

“Guerreiro” temporarily returns to his roots for his sophomore appearance after a competitive three-round featherweight MMA war against Russian juggernaut Ibragim Dauev at ONE Fight Night 33 last July.

While Dantas showcased his all-around skill set in that encounter, kickboxing is where the 22-year-old built his reputation. The Brazilian’s dangerous striking remains his most lethal weapon in the all-encompassing sport, and his pinpoint accuracy combined with his fight-ending power makes him a legitimate threat to Siasarani’s momentum.

Above all, neither man possesses an ounce of quit, which should turn this into a high-octane slugfest for as long as it lasts.

#3 Carlo Bumina-ang Vs. Marcos Aurelio

The organization’s first U.S. primetime showcase of the year opens with an explosive bantamweight MMA contest between Filipino stud Carlo “The Bull” Bumina-ang and undefeated Brazilian standout Marcos Aurelio.

Bumina-ang knows how to finish his opponents in style. Six of his seven triumphs under the promotional banner have come inside the distance, demonstrating his ability to produce dazzling moments when the stakes are highest.

The 31-year-old, however, enters this battle with the intention of rebuilding his momentum, as he saw his two-fight winning streak snapped at the hands of undefeated Azerbaijani-Russian sensation Elbek Alyshov at ONE Fight Night 37 this past November.

“The Bull” will look to prove that the setback was only temporary, and his finishing prowess will come in handy against someone who has yet to taste defeat in his professional career.

Standing across from him will be Aurelio, who brings a pristine 8-0 slate into the tilt. The 21-year-old has proven capable of ending matches with explosive striking or his equally dangerous grappling repertoire, making him a threat in all areas of the game.

When the Filipino destroyer meets the undefeated Brazilian dynamo in the opening bout, the stage is set for an unforgettable way to kick off ONE Fight Night 39.
