Synopsis

ONE Championship returns to Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on July 18 with another explosive lineup as ONE Friday Fights 116 goes down live in Asia primetime.

This event features international rising stars from across the globe competing under Muay Thai, kickboxing, and MMA rules — some of whom will be battling for a life-changing US$100,000 contract with the world’s largest martial arts organization.

In the main event, Thai-Malaysian striking sensation Adam Sor Dechapan faces French-Algerian phenom Nahyan Mohammed in their highly anticipated 112-pound Muay Thai rematch. The younger brother of Aliff Sor Dechapan, Adam secured a split-decision victory over Nahyan in their first meeting at ONE Friday Fights 107, and both teenage prodigies will look to make a statement in this pivotal rematch that could position the winner as one of the most promising young talents in the weekly series.

In the featured bout, Thailand’s Superball TDed99 faces Russian knockout artist Ibragim Abdulmedzhidov in 138-pound Muay Thai action. The Thai clinch specialist brings his unpredictable kicking game and ultra-aggressive fighting style against the heavy-handed Abdulmedzhidov, who has scored multiple knockout victories in previous ONE Friday Fights competition. This stylistic clash between technical precision and explosive power promises fireworks.

International talent shines throughout the card as Belarusian-French striker Antar Kacem takes on Thailand’s Panrit Lukjaomaesaiwaree, while K-1 Champion Yuki Yoza faces former ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Champion Petchtanong Petchfergus in a high-stakes kickboxing clash. The card also features Japanese stars Tatsumitsu Wada, Ayaka Miura, and Hiroba Minowa competing in MMA action, adding to the international flavor.

So, mark your calendar, put a reminder in your phone, and find out how you can watch ONE Friday Fights 116 live on July 18 in more than 190 countries around the globe!
