Krisna Limbaga was born to a family of farmers in the remote province of Negros Oriental. She first began training in Muay Thai and the Filipino martial art of Arnis when she was in high school, and went on to excel in “the art of eight limbs,” even competing for the Philippine national team. Over the years, Limbaga has amassed over 40 bouts in Muay Thai, and looks to expand her horizons by stepping into the ONE Championship cage.
She describes competing in ONE Championship as “everyone’s dream”, and is motivated by a desire to represent her country well and make her son proud. Her mother is opposed to her martial arts career, and made her promise that if things don’t look promising, she will give up on her dream after this year and get a normal job. However, that has only doubled Limbaga’s resolve to succeed, and show that this is just the beginning of a path leading to greatness.
