About Bianca Basilio

Bianca Basilio was born in Franca in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she got her start in sports through gymnastics. At 12 years old, she discovered Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and began training with Almeida JJ co-founder Diogo Almeida.

Basilio soon excelled in jiu-jitsu, first earning her black belt then claiming the IBJJF World Championship in 2022. The Brazilian’s achievement came after she accumulated countless other accolades in the grappling arts.

In November 2022, Basilio made her ONE Championship debut in the women’s strawweight division against Milena Sakumoto, where she lived up to her skill set. The debutant stunned her Japanese-Brazilian opponent with a first-round submission win.

With a plethora of top-ranked strawweights in the world’s largest martial arts organization, Basilio’s impressive grappling resume will surely be tested as she continues her journey toward martial arts greatness.
