Saemapetch Fairtex

Saemapetch Fairtex grew up in extreme poverty, and he had to help his parents gather bottles and plastic for resale in order to survive.

Entirely by chance, the mayor of their small town saw him on the streets and introduced him to Muay Thai, unknowingly changing the course of his life.

Prodigiously talented, he stepped into the ring for the first time at the age of 11, and a mere three years later he was already competing in the famed Rajadamnern Stadium in Bangkok.

He won the prestigious Tiger Cement Tournament at the Channel 7 Boxing Stadium when he was just 17 years old, and in April 2018 he added the MTGP Welterweight Title to his resume.

Nowadays, Saemapetch trains out of the renowned Fairtex Training Center in Pattaya, Thailand, alongside three-sport ONE World Champion Stamp Fairtex.

Since joining ONE in 2018, Saemapetch has been a mainstay of the promotion’s deep bantamweight Muay Thai roster, racking up victories over some of the best fighters in the world and challenging for the division’s World Title.

Next, Saemapetch gets the opportunity to erase the memory of his disappointing defeat to Mohamed Younes Rabah in his last fight. The two will rematch in bantamweight Muay Thai action at ONE Fight Night 19 on Prime Video on February 16.
