Reece McLaren renowned versatility is not a skill that’s limited to the ring. In his younger years, the Filipino-Australian phenom was compelled to leave his close-knit community in Christmas Island and move to South East Queensland in mainland Australia. McLaren struggled to fit in a new environment and was often teased for being the smallest kid in the class. However, “Lightning” believed that the whole experience helped toughened him up and has led to his eventual rise up the martial arts ladder. McLaren will now take on his toughest test yet when he faces Danny Kingad in the ONE Flyweight World Grand Prix at ONE: DAWN OF HEROES in Manila.
