ONE Championship returns to Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on June 19 for a historic night of martial arts as The Inner Circle 19 and ONE Friday Fights 159 go down live in Asia primetime.
Exclusively for members of The Inner Circle, the evening opens with two ONE World Championship bouts. In the main event, five-time ONE Women’s Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Allycia Hellen Rodrigues puts her title on the line against three-time ONE Atomweight Kickboxing World Champion Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom in one of the most anticipated women’s Muay Thai matchups in ONE history. In the co-main event, ONE Heavyweight Kickboxing World Champion Samet Agdeve makes the first defense of the belt he claimed with a statement performance over Roman Kryklia last November, with Kryklia, a multi-division titleholder and ONE Heavyweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix winner, returning to reclaim what he believes is still his.
After The Inner Circle 19, ONE Friday Fights 159 features international stars competing under Muay Thai, kickboxing, and MMA rules, all battling for a life-changing US$100,000 contract with the world’s largest martial arts organization.
In the main event, Worapon Lukjaoporongtom takes on Italy’s Lenny Blasi in a bantamweight Muay Thai showdown. Riding a three-fight winning streak and carrying the same proud name that will echo through Lumpinee Stadium twice on Friday night, Worapon steps into the ring with a contract in his sights. Blasi traveled from Italy to prove he belongs, bringing an all-action brawling style and the finishing ability to cause an upset. In the co-main event, Spain’s Xavier Gonzalez takes on Thailand’s Chatanan Sor Jor Joyprajin in a flyweight Muay Thai clash. Gonzalez makes a quick turnaround after finishing his last opponent in round one earlier this month.
