Zebaztian Kadestam To Return Against Isi Fitikefu In Welterweight MMA Match At ONE Fight Night 31

A high-stakes welterweight MMA tilt between two of the division’s most explosive finishers is heading to ONE Fight Night 31: Kongthoranee vs. Nong-O II on Prime Video.

On May 2 in U.S. primetime, former ONE Welterweight MMA World Champion Zebaztian “The Bandit” Kadestam will lock horns with surging Australian-Tongan standout Isi “Doxz” Fitikefu in a showdown that broadcasts live from Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium.

With both men bringing winning streaks into the contest, either could punch his ticket to a shot at reigning divisional kingpin Christian “The Warrior” Lee with an impressive victory.

A veteran of 11 thrilling battles in ONE, Kadestam boasts a 100 percent finishing rate in the world’s largest martial arts organization, making him a longtime fan favorite.

The Swedish knockout artist held the golden belt from 2018 to 2019, and while he’s experienced some ups and downs since then, he appears to have regained peak form.

Indeed, “The Bandit” has looked nothing short of sensational in his last three appearances, which included a shocking second-round knockout of Croatian superstar Roberto “Robocop” Soldic.

Fitikefu, though, has the dynamic athleticism and savage finishing instincts to take out the former ONE World Champion.

After suffering a narrow split-decision loss in his promotional debut (his only career defeat), “Doxz” has rattled off a pair of impressive victories that proved he belongs in the welterweight MMA division’s top tier.

In his most recent outing, the 32-year-old powerhouse earned an entertaining and hard-fought decision win over Hiroyuki Tetsuka, snapping the Japanese fighter’s five-fight winning streak while turning heads in the process.

Kadestam and Fitikefu will now each look to assert himself as a World Title challenger — and their showdown on May 2 promises fireworks for as long as it lasts.
