Watch The Weigh-Ins & Hydration Tests For ONE Fight Night 40: Buntan Vs. Hemetsberger II

Scottish Muay Thai fighter Nico Carrillo is ready to compete

Before the fireworks explode on Valentine’s Day weekend, the world’s greatest martial artists competing at ONE Fight Night 40: Buntan vs. Hemetsberger II on Prime Video must clear their final obstacle.

The event goes down live in U.S. primetime from Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium this Friday, February 13, but first, every athlete must successfully weigh in and pass their hydration tests to ensure they’re healthy and ready to compete at their best.

Fans can watch the official ONE Fight Night 40 Weigh-Ins & Hydration Tests live by clicking play on the video below beginning at 5 a.m. ET/5 p.m. ICT on Thursday, February 12.

In the main event, ONE Women’s Strawweight Kickboxing World Champion Jackie Buntan defends her belt against the division’s reigning Muay Thai queen, Stella “Always Hungry” Hemetsberger, in a highly anticipated rematch that promises to be even more intense than their first encounter.

Five months ago at ONE Fight Night 35, these two superstars went to war over the vacant ONE Women’s Strawweight Muay Thai World Title. The Filipino-American attempted to make history and become a two-sport queen, but Hemetsberger had other plans.

The 27-year-old Austrian dropped Buntan twice in the opening stanza and hung tough through five grueling rounds to capture a unanimous decision victory and the coveted gold.

Now, the tables have turned. Eager to prove she can beat her European rival, Buntan requested an immediate rematch – but this time, she’s putting her kickboxing crown on the line as the ultimate prize. Conversely, Hemetsberger has a golden opportunity to become the next two-sport queen in the world’s largest martial arts organization.

The co-main event features an explosive interim title clash that will shake up the featherweight Muay Thai division, as Thai knockout artist Shadow Singha Mawynn squares off against Scottish powerhouse “King of the North” Nico Carrillo.

With reigning ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai sidelined with a serious injury, ONE Championship is moving the division forward by pitting two of its most dangerous contenders against each other for interim gold.

Shadow, a former Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Champion, has been on a tear since his rough promotional debut in February 2024. The 26-year-old Thai phenom rattled off five straight victories – including a decision over living legend Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong and a knockout over WMC World Champion Bampara Kouyate – to solidify himself as a top contender.

Meanwhile, Carrillo has experienced a career resurgence. After falling short in his bid for the ONE Interim Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title in January 2025, the 27-year-old decided to compete at his more natural weight class, where his immense power would be even more potent. The move has paid dividends, as he’s knocked out both Sitthichai and American standout Luke Lessei to mark himself as another elite contender in the bustling division.
