Watch The Weigh-Ins And Hydration Tests For ONE Fight Night 31: Kongthoranee Vs. Nong-O II

Kongthoranee Sor Sommai Nong O Hama ONE Fight Night 28 30

ONE Championship’s next U.S. primetime event goes down this Friday, May 2.

Before the action gets underway at ONE Fight Night 31: Kongthoranee vs. Nong-O II on Prime Video, every athlete on the card needs to pass one final hurdle in Bangkok, Thailand.

One day before the show, each competitor must hit their mark on the scale and submit a hydrated sample to ensure they’re healthy and fit to compete at the highest level.

Fans can follow the official ONE Fight Night 31 Weigh-Ins and Hydration Tests by watching the video below starting this Thursday, May 1, at 6 a.m. ET/3 a.m. PT.

The main event will see rising star Kongthoranee Sor Sommai and legendary striker Nong-O Hama collide in an all-Thai flyweight Muay Thai rematch that carries major implications for the division’s World Title picture.

For #3-ranked Kongthoranee, it’s a chance to prove that his February split-decision victory over the former bantamweight Muay Thai king was no fluke, while Nong-O hopes to even the score, steal his foe’s spot in the rankings, and show fans that he’s still in the hunt for 26 pounds of World Title gold.

Before that, reigning ONE Welterweight Submission Grappling World Champion Tye Ruotolo will put his undefeated ONE record and divisional belt on the line against a familiar opponent in Canada’s Dante Leon.

Both men are widely recognized among the sport’s top pound-for-pound stars, and after going 1-1 against each other outside of ONE, their long-awaited trilogy match promises plenty of drama and skill.

Plus, fans won’t want to miss the high-stakes showdown between leading welterweight MMA contenders Zebaztian “The Bandit” Kadestam and Isi “Doxz” Fitikefu.

A former divisional kingpin who is now riding an impressive three-fight winning streak, Sweden’s Kadestam is eager to secure a shot at current ONE Welterweight MMA World Champion Christian Lee.

The physically imposing Fitikefu, though, is on a winning streak of his own and has the well-rounded skills needed to give “The Bandit” plenty of problems.

Additionally, ONE Fight Night 31 will see the U.S. primetime debuts of young phenoms like Abdulla “Smash Boy” Dayakaev, Akif “King” Guluzada, and Lucas Gabriel, giving fans plenty of reasons to tune in this Friday beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
