Sitthichai To Face Mohammed Siasarani In Key Muay Thai Bout At ONE Friday Fights 32

A pair of high-stakes Muay Thai battles designed to produce fireworks are headed to the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium and ONE Friday Fights 32 in Asia primetime on September 8.

In a featured contest, decorated Thai legend Sitthichai “Killer Kid” Sitsongpeenong will go toe-to-toe with 21-year-old phenom Mohammed Siasarani in a featherweight showdown that could propel either man to a coveted World Title shot.

Currently the #2-ranked featherweight Muay Thai contender and an eight-time Muay Thai and Kickboxing World Champion, Sitthichai has firmly established himself as one of the planet’s most respected and accomplished strikers.

Now, the pound-for-pound great hopes to bolster his stacked trophy case with 26 pounds of ONE Championship gold.

After a four-fight run in ONE’s talent-rich featherweight kickboxing division – which saw him earn a top-five ranking and reach the Grand Prix Championship Final – Sitthichai returned to Muay Thai in June with a thrilling decision win over American standout Eddie Abasolo.

The Thai icon hopes to maintain his momentum, but Siasarani is one of the most exciting rising stars in all of striking.

The Iranian sensation is 2-0 in ONE Muay Thai contests, most recently scoring a highlight-reel finish at ONE Friday Fights 26. Before that, he stunned fellow prodigy Mohammed Boutasaa in an unforgettable kickboxing battle.

Whether it’s “Killer Kid” or Siasarani, the winner on September 8 would make a strong case to challenge for the ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Title.

That golden belt will be up for grabs on October 6 when #1-ranked contender Superbon Singha Mawynn challenges divisional king Tawanchai PK Saenchai in the main event of ONE Fight Night 15 on Prime Video.

Nabil Anane Vs. Nakrob Fairtex Also Added To ONE Friday Fights 32

On the same card, 19-year-old standout Nabil Anane will square off with surging upstart Nakrob Fairtex in an intriguing flyweight Muay Thai showcase.

Standing at an imposing 6-foot-2, Anane took the striking world by storm in 2022 when he became the youngest-ever WBC Muay Thai World Champion, garnering the attention of both fans and ONE Championship officials.

The highly touted Thai-Algerian striker then made his promotional debut in June, but he suffered a knockout defeat at the hands of ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Champion and #1-ranked flyweight Muay Thai contender Superlek Kiatmoo9.

Anane will now look to bounce back and live up to the lofty expectations surrounding him when he returns to action in Bangkok.

In the other corner, Nakrob is a veteran of more than 80 professional fights and has put together an impressive 4-0 record in ONE Friday Fights.

Those victories include a pair of dazzling finishes, as the 24-year-old Thai has quickly earned a reputation as an all-action fan favorite.

On September 8, Nakrob will aim to utilize his thunderous power and dynamic striking attack to defeat Anane and continue his climb toward the division’s top-five rankings.
