Rich Franklin's ONE Warrior Series Season 2 Resumes In Phuket

Rich Franklin’s ONE Warrior Series (OWS) is back!

The second season of the former Middleweight World Champion’s talent search across Asia continues on the island of Phuket, Thailand, and the show’s stars made sure to enjoy the island paradise to its fullest. 

Franklin and the OWS team met up with lightweight star Shannon “OneShin” Wiratchai at Tiger Muay Thai to check out some of the new up-and-coming prospects at the gym.

This week’s episode focuses on two young, talented women from the famous facility, as they attempt to impress and earn a spot on the live OWS show in Singapore on 11 October.

First, the show gets re-acquainted with Uyen Ha from Melbourne, Australia.

The 21-year-old was featured on the show’s first visit to Thailand, but while she showed promise, Franklin asked her to come back after she worked on some of her skills.

Now, she believes she is ready after six months of hard work.

“I just went back to the gym and kept training what I needed to train,” she says. “The things he pointed out were things I knew I needed to work on anyway.”

The show also checks in with her teammate, Claudia Diaz, from Barcelona, Spain.

The 23-year-old granddaughter of a pro boxer aims to make a strong first impression, and secure her place on the next OWS card as well.
