Phuket, Thailand, has proved to be a happy hunting ground for Rich Franklin’s ONE Warrior Series (OWS).

ONE Championship’s Vice President and his team have already spotted several potential stars in the two previous episodes of the show.

On the latest installment of the organization’s talent search, they returned to Tiger Muay Thai to add to their finds.

This time, they opened tryouts to other gyms, and there was a strong contingent from Phuket Top Team looking to make an impression.

One of the men who caught OWS matchmaker Bashi Ahmad’s eye was America’s Manuel “Tick” Huerta.

The grappling specialist impressed coaches with his smooth technique and control, and earned the opportunity to show what he can do in the ring at ONE Warrior Series 3, which broadcasts live from Singapore on the ONE Super App on 11 October.

De’von “Bam” Morris was also prominent on the radar thanks to his athleticism and well-rounded skills, and he similarly earned a place to compete in Singapore.

“What fans can expect from me in ONE Warrior Series coming up is exciting bouts, a lot of boxing, and a lot of expressing my art,” he says.

“I believe my style is very beautiful. What they are going to see is a new way of movement. I really believe they will experience an interesting individual.”
