ONE Friday Fights 171 Main Event Result: Klarob Outlasts Sornsueknoi To Claim Stunning Victory
Klarob NuiCafeboran had to survive a genuine firefight before walking away with his hand raised, grinding out a unanimous decision over Sornsueknoi FA Group in the flyweight Muay Thai main event of ONE Friday Fights 171 inside the historic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, September 18.
The 26-year-old PK Saenchai Muaythaigym product looked dangerous from the start, letting his right high kick rip into his compatriot’s arms and head. None landed clean enough to cause significant damage, and Sornsueknoi answered with punches that crashed through Klarob’s guard, exactly the kind of firefight both men promised ahead of time.
That opening round stayed competitive throughout, and round two made it look tame by comparison. The 31-year-old FA Group fighter landed a right hook that left Klarob’s legs playing catch-up with his torso.

The younger Thai, meanwhile, shook his head and exchanged, firing left uppercuts and right hooks from close range to punish his rival before finishing the round with an elbow that followed a pair of left punches, swinging the momentum back in his favor.
In the third round, Sornsueknoi came to life with his boxing, lighting Klarob up with huge combinations. His uppercuts snuck up the middle and hinged the PK Saenchai product’s head back repeatedly. But Klarob wasn’t down or out, returning fire with his own punches and grinding through the pressure until the final bell.
The judges gave it to Klarob, who earned his third straight win on the weekly series and the 84th victory of his career.
