Numsurin Vs. Songchainoi II Among Trio Of Muay Thai Battles Added To ONE Friday Fights 160 On June 26

Numsurin Chor Ketwina (L) lands clean against Songchainoi Kiatsongrit (R)

The world’s largest martial arts organization is cooking up another spectacular night of action at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, officially confirming three massive Muay Thai bouts at ONE Friday Fights 160. Broadcasting live in Asia primetime, this thrilling card goes down on June 26.

The action-packed card unfolds immediately following the conclusion of The Inner Circle, which features the highly anticipated battle for the vacant ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Championship between Asadula Imangazaliev and Aslamjon Ortikov

Leading the additional slate of matchups is a pivotal atomweight Muay Thai rematch between Thai dynamos Numsurin Chor Ketwina and Songchainoi Kiatsongrit. Joining them on the card are two phenomenal bantamweight Muay Thai clashes, as the legendary Yodkhunpon Sitmonchai takes on Semih Sah Cindir, while Muangthai PK Saenchai and Panrit Lukjaomaesaiwaree also lock horns.

Songchainoi originally built his formidable reputation through a fiercely aggressive style, devastating punching power, and an iron chin. That dominant approach earned him a flawless 9-0 start in the weekly series and a coveted US$100,000 contract.

Conversely, Numsurin relies on a brilliant, tactical counter-striking game. The Chor Ketwina representative utilized that exact method to rack up five straight victories of his own.

The two men initially crossed paths in a high-stakes World Title eliminator at ONE Friday Fights 122. Given his wealth of experience and preexisting rivalry with reigning ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Nadaka, Songchainoi entered the ring as the heavy favorite.

However, Numsurin pulled off a massive upset to secure a three-round majority decision win. He punctuated that incredible performance by dropping his fellow compatriot with a stunning counter left hook in the second round, ultimately earning his own six-figure roster contract in the process.

Following that career-defining victory, Numsurin fought Nadaka for the inaugural ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Title at ONE 173 but ultimately fell short via unanimous decision.

Meanwhile, Songchainoi quickly bounced back from the defeat to Numsurin by outpointing Salai Htan Khee Shein and securing a showdown with the divisional king. The Thai powerhouse put forth a valiant effort in a grueling five-round war at ONE SAMURAI 1 last April, famously tagging the Japanese titleholder multiple times before dropping a hard-fought decision.

Now, both men desperately need a definitive victory over a familiar foe to jumpstart another run toward a potential ONE World Title shot.

Further down the card, the global fan base will witness the promotional debut of Thai wrecking ball Yodkhunpon. The highly experienced striker steps into the ring boasting an incredible 104 career victories. As a former K-1 Champion, the Sitmonchai representative is celebrated for his relentless forward pressure, punishing low kicks, and heavy boxing combinations.

He will look to make a lasting impression against Sah Cindir, a dangerous Turkish combatant holding a 24-8 professional record. After dropping his promotional debut to Nontachai Jitmuangnon, the 25-year-old rebounded nicely with a sharp split-decision victory over Wang Penghui at ONE Friday Fights 154, where he showcased crisp boxing and slicing inside elbows.

Closing out this trio of new matchups is a guaranteed thriller between two exciting Thai finishers in Muangthai and Panrit.

Known globally as “Elbow Zombie,” Muangthai is incapable of being in a boring fight. The 32-year-old veteran has collected 10 spectacular victories in the promotion, highlighted by legendary battles against Ratchasiesan Laochokcharoen and Seksan Or Kwanmuang.

He is hunting for his 208th career win against a highly dangerous adversary. The 29-year-old Panrit enters the ring in the absolute best form of his career, carrying eight promotional victories into the matchup. He has secured massive back-to-back wins over Nakrob Fairtex and, most recently, Krisana Dowdenmuaythai at ONE Friday Fights 152.

Given their respective styles and penchant for standing in the pocket, this explosive bantamweight collision could easily steal the show on June 26.
