The Inner Circle 30 Co-Main Event Result: Muangthai Stops Seksan In Third Round Of Emotional Retirement Bout

“Elbow Zombie” Muangthai PK Saenchai brought Seksan “The Man Who Yields To No One” Or Kwanmuang’s legendary career to an emotional close with a third-round TKO in their bantamweight Muay Thai co-main event at The Inner Circle 30.

The longtime Thai rivals met for the sixth and final time on Friday, September 11, live in Asia primetime from Bangkok’s iconic Lumpinee Stadium and exclusively for members at live.onefc.com.

Their clash unfolded just before the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title main event between former divisional king Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon and Yod-IQ Or Pimolsri.

But this co-headliner carried its own profound significance. Four-time Muay Thai World Champion Seksan had personally selected former Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion Muangthai as the final opponent of his decorated professional journey.

The pair wasted no time revisiting their deeply familiar rivalry, immediately trading heavy punches and swift elbows at close range.

Muangthai found early success with his boxing, wobbling Seksan with a fluid combination capped by a rising uppercut. “The Man Who Yields To No One” fired back with a spectacular spinning back elbow that ignited the Lumpinee crowd, but his rival soon answered by scoring the first knockdown.

A precisely timed left hook sent Seksan stumbling forward until both hands touched the canvas. True to his famous moniker, the 37-year-old warrior beat the referee’s count and survived the remainder of the opening frame.

Muangthai resumed his relentless pressure in round two, utilizing a stiff teep to knock Seksan off balance and against the ropes. The retiring veteran remained constantly dangerous, however, firmly planting his feet and connecting with a thudding four-punch combination.

The decisive sequence ultimately materialized in round three.

After both men traded heavy kicks and briefly clinched, Muangthai connected with a left kick, a straight punch, and another digging left kick to the body. He then chopped the inside of Seksan’s thigh with a sweeping low kick, knocking him completely off balance before immediately following with a flawless left elbow to the jaw.

Seksan hit the canvas once more, and this time the referee stepped in at the 0:59 mark of round three, awarding Muangthai the definitive TKO victory. The result improved Muangthai’s career record to 208-48 and gave him consecutive victories over Seksan after dropping their first four encounters. Seksan therefore closes their storied rivalry with a 4-2 series lead.

Following the bout, Seksan addressed the adoring crowd and officially confirmed the end of his professional career. He spoke of plans to travel across Thailand with his wife, participate in religious activities, and remain closely involved with Muay Thai events.

Then, in one final, poignant symbolic gesture, Seksan removed his gloves and carefully placed them in the center of the ring, drawing the curtain on a legendary career defined by relentless action and an absolute unwillingness to yield.
