‘Now It’s My Time’ – Abdallah Ondash Aiming For Redemption Against Chokpreecha At The Inner Circle 24
Abdallah Ondash has answered his only ONE Championship defeat with four consecutive knockouts. But one piece of unfinished business continues to follow the Lebanese wrecking ball.
The only man to defeat him in the world’s largest martial arts organization is still standing in his way.
On Friday, July 31, Ondash will finally get another shot at Chokpreecha PK TomTKalaiyont in a strawweight Muay Thai rematch at The Inner Circle 24. The event streams live in Asia primetime from Bangkok’s iconic Lumpinee Stadium exclusively for members at live.onefc.com.
Chokpreecha edged their first meeting by majority decision at ONE Friday Fights 70 in July 2024, ending Ondash’s unbeaten promotional start. The Lebanese striker has since improved his ONE record to 8-1, but he cannot consider that chapter closed until he defeats the only opponent to overcome him.
Ondash said:
“I don’t know what happened in the first fight, but it’s okay. I learned from it. After that fight, I got four knockouts. Inshallah, I will get another one in this fight.
“I have one loss now [in ONE]. Inshallah, if I win this fight with him, I will feel like I have no loss. It’s very important, because after this fight, I want to fight for the belt.”
Ondash entered their first encounter with four consecutive ONE victories and had never experienced defeat in the promotion.
Looking back, the 25-year-old believes that early success affected his approach. He had grown accustomed to winning and may not have treated Chokpreecha with the seriousness the challenge demanded. The setback taught him a lesson that has influenced every performance since.
Ondash explained:
“I learned not to take any opponent for granted. Before that fight, I had never lost. I won four times in a row. So maybe I took things for granted. But it is a fight, and anything can happen.
“I only lost one fight. This time, the victory will be mine. I’m ready now, and I will fight very smart, like I did in my last fight. It will be easier for me this time.”
His response has been ruthless.
Ondash stopped Petlampun Muadablampang and Singdomthong Nokjeanladkrabang before knocking out two-time Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion Kompet Sitsarawatsuer to earn a life-changing six-figure contract and a place on ONE’s global roster.
Most recently, the Lebanese warrior finished Denkriangkrai Mavinn Muaythai with a right hook and left body kick in the opening round, improving his promotional record to 8-1 with six knockouts.
The Tiger Muay Thai representative is confident in his finishing ability, but he does not intend to recklessly pursue another stoppage. He wants to remain disciplined, follow his strategy, and allow the decisive opening to emerge.
He said:
“With the small gloves, anything can happen. In my last fight, I think I won with my boxing, but I also used my leg kicks. This time, maybe it will be an elbow. Maybe it will be a leg kick. Maybe it will be a punch. But I have complete Muay Thai skills, and I will fight with Muay Thai.
“Everyone thinks I only have boxing power, but that is not true. I have complete Muay Thai skills. People have not seen all of my Muay Thai yet. You will see it in this fight. I respect him, but now it’s my time. I’m hungry now.”
Ondash Plans To Call Out ONE World Champions
Abdallah Ondash’s pursuit of redemption is tied directly to his World Championship ambitions.
He has already collected eight ONE victories with a staggering 75 percent finishing rate. If he stops Chokpreecha PK TomTKalaiyont at The Inner Circle 24, the Lebanese firecracker would extend his knockout streak to five and raise his promotional tally to seven finishes.
Ondash believes that record would justify an opportunity against the strawweight Muay Thai king.
He said:
“Another knockout is coming. That would be seven knockouts. I want to fight the champion.
“I understand that there are two possible outcomes, whether I win or lose, but of course, I am aiming to win. I want to fight for the belt next, so this fight is very important for me. I want to fight the champion. Chokpreecha trains at the same gym as Prajanchai [PongSuphan PK]. I will call him out.”
Chokpreecha’s affiliation with reigning ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Champion Prajanchai adds another dimension to the rematch. The two Thai stars train at the same gym, and Ondash believes Prajanchai could even be in his teammate’s corner at Lumpinee Stadium.
That would give the Lebanese knockout artist a direct audience for the callout he intends to make after the fight.
He is also willing to wait for the outcome of the expected World Title unification bout between the divisional king and interim titleholder Aliff Sor Dechapan, who defeated his younger brother Ramadan “The Scorpion” Ondash in December 2025.
Abdallah concluded:
“It’s okay to fight Aliff too. I will fight anyone. I want the champion. No problem.”
