Nakrob Says Knockout Power Will Be His ‘Secret Weapon’ Against Jaosuayai At ONE Fight Night 32

Nakrob Fairtex knows he’ll need to be in peak form when he faces the surging Jaosuayai Mor Krungthepthonburi inside the iconic Lumpinee Stadium ring in Bangkok, Thailand.

The flyweight Muay Thai contenders will collide on June 6 in U.S. primetime at ONE Fight Night 32: Rodrigues vs. Cohen on Prime Video, and fans should buckle up for a firefight.

Currently ranked #5 in the talent-packed flyweight Muay Thai division, Nakrob began his promotional tenure with a dominant run through ONE Friday Fights, where he earned a six-figure contract to join the main roster.

Following a highlight-reel knockout of Puengluang Baanramba in his most recent outing, he’ll now defend his top-five spot against an incredibly tough opponent.

For his part, Jaosuayai is a devastating knockout artist who’s been tearing through top-tier competition with high-flying striking techniques and ruthless finishing abilities, amassing a four-fight winning streak coming into this contest.

Nakrob has plenty of respect for his Thai compatriot and told onefc.com that he’s not taking anything for granted:

“Jaosuayai is a really good fighter. He’s got sharp weapons and quick footwork. He’s improved a lot since his debut fight. His strength is his sharp and fast punches, for sure. As for his weaknesses, I gotta admit, I can barely see any. I have to say, he’s very skilled.”

That high praise speaks volumes to what Jaosuayai brings to the table.

But while Nakrob admits his foe might be the quicker athlete, he’s confident that he’ll be the more powerful striker in their matchup. With five sensational finishes over the course of his ONE career, the Fairtex representative has firmly established himself as one of the division’s biggest hitters.

He said:

“I’ve prepared big shots for every round, like always. My secret weapon would probably be the power behind my strikes. I’m confident I can land heavier shots. But when it comes to speed, I gotta give it to Jaosuayai.”

It’s clear that Nakrob is aiming to neutralize Jaosuayai’s speed and score another knockout at ONE Fight Night 32.

Still, he’s not about to say precisely how the fight will play out. A veteran of more than 90 professional bouts, he knows that anything can happen when strikes start flying:

“I can tell you right now, this fight’s gonna be intense. There’s a good chance it won’t go the distance. But I can’t predict exactly when it’s gonna finish. You’ll have to wait and see in the ring!”

Nakrob Discusses Future Beyond ONE Fight Night 32

With the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Title currently sitting vacant, every bout carries extra significance for the athletes looking to position themselves for a shot at gold. The clash between Nakrob Fairtex and Jaosuayai Krungthepthonburi is no different.

Nakrob understands the elite level of competition he’ll face in the weight class. In particular, he’s eyeing former ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nong-O Hama, who recently defeated Kongthoranee Sor Sommai to earn a place in the top-five rankings:

“There are a lot of great fighters in this division, including a lot of rising stars coming up, and especially Nong-O. I saw his last fight with Kongthoranee, and I was amazed that he’s 38 but can still fight like that. That’s incredible. He’s definitely a very dangerous fighter in this division.”

Although a potential showdown with the legendary Nong-O sounds enticing, Nakrob remains laser-focused on the challenge before him.

One lapse in judgment or momentary distraction against a fighter of Jaosuayai’s caliber could spell disaster for his World Title aspirations.

Nakrob added:

“I just want to focus on getting through this fight first. Right now, I haven’t even thought about the next one yet.”
