Kwon Won Il, Rungrawee Earn US$50,000 Performance Bonuses At ONE Fight Night 18

Rungrawee Sitsongpeenong Shakir Al Tekreeti ONE Fight Night 18 35

ONE Championship’s first U.S. primetime event of the year went down at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, January 12, and it was packed with stellar performances from start to finish.

Two athletes stood out from the rest at ONE Fight Night 18: Gasanov vs. Oh on Prime Video, and each of them earned a US$50,000 performance bonus.

ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong awarded bonuses to local hero Rungrawee “Legatron” Sitsongpeenong and South Korean knockout artist “Pretty Boy” Kwon Won Il for their spectacular stoppage victories.

“Pretty Boy” went to war with Mongolian powerhouse Shinechagtga Zoltsetseg in a pivotal bantamweight MMA clash and walked out US$50,000 richer.

After a wild, back-and-forth first round, Kwon took the fight to the ground in the second frame. There, he secured a decisive ground-and-pound stoppage that will make for a fine addition to his impressive highlight reel.

Rungrawee earned the first US$50,000 performance bonus of the night thanks to his dominant showing against Iraqi standout Shakir Al-Tekreeti in their lightweight Muay Thai contest.

“Legatron” applied suffocating pressure from the opening bell, scoring four total knockdowns in less than two rounds. With the TKO win, he picked up his 50th career stoppage victory and left the ring with an extra check.
