Jonathan Haggerty Responds To Rodtang With Elbow KO Prediction

Jonathan Haggerty practices his elbows at the ONE A NEW TOMORROW press conference

In an exclusive interview with ONE Championship commentator Michael Schiavello, Jonathan “The General” Haggerty has predicted an explosive outcome in the main event of ONE: A NEW TOMORROW.

This Friday, 10 January, the Englishman will challenge Rodtang “The Iron Man” Jitmuangnon for the ONE Flyweight World Title in a rematch of 2019’s best ONE Super Series bout.

In the run-up to this long-awaited clash, the 22-year-old from London explained how he had planned a careful strategy to recapture the belt, but less than 48 hours before he enters the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, he responded to his rival’s prediction of a KO with his own.

“It’s just words really. I’ll just say I’ll elbow his head off,” Haggerty said.

“Let’s just put it this way: you’re going to see a lot of fakes – open him up, drop his hands. I’m going to say I’m going to knock him out.”
