Full Card Revealed For ONE Friday Fights 57 On March 29
Another exciting bout card has been lined up for ONE Friday Fights 57 on March 29.
The next weekly Asia primetime event at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, will feature a stacked bill of elite Muay Thai with support from rising stars in mixed martial arts.
In the main event, Panrit Lukjaomaesaiwaree will take on Alexey Balyko in a 140-pound catchweight Muay Thai contest.
Panrit is looking to build a winning streak following his decisive finish of Kongklai Annymuaythai in February, but he’ll have his hands full with the surging Russian.
Balyko has posted a perfect 2-0 slate in ONE Friday Fights so far, including a KO victory over Suakim Sor Jor Thongprajin last time out.
Both men have concussive power that could lead to a stoppage at any time so there’s no room for error in their show-closing tussle.
Earlier, Petgarfield Jitmuangnon and Numpangna Eaglemuaythai will run things back in a 140-pound catchweight Muay Thai rematch.
The Thai duo slugged it out over three furious rounds at ONE Friday Fights 38 last October, with Petgarfield taking the nod via unanimous decision.
Since then, Numpangna has gotten back on the winning track with a knockout of Sho Ogawa, and he’s eager to level the score in another classic against his old foe.
Another Muay Thai battle that promises fireworks is the bantamweight clash between “Sensational” Fabio Reis and “Man of Steel” Soe Lin Oo.
Reis entered ONE with shocking back-to-back KOs over Sangmanee PK Saenchai and Ferrari Fairtex, but his momentum has been curtailed with consecutive decision losses.
He wants to prove he belongs among the division’s elite with a win over Myanmar’s “Man of Steel,” who debuted with a TKO victory against Masayoshi Tsuhashi in February.
In the MMA openers, Japanese competitors Seiya Matsuda and Akari Ogata will take on Russian athlete Mikhail Gritsanenko and Uzbek fighter Khojinsa Komoldinova, respectively, in a pair of 163-pound catchweight contests.
