Evolve Fight Team Doubles Down On Kickboxers With World Class Additions

Giorgio Petrosyan IMGL1194

Evolve has added World Champion kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa to its competition team following the recruitment of Giorgio “The Doctor” Petrosyan last week.

The 20-year-old from Chiba Prefecture, Japan, is undefeated at 27-0, a two-division RISE World Champion, and two-time ISKA World Champion. He is also 4-0 as a mixed martial artist.

Despite his young age, he is already a huge star in his native land. With ONE Championship’s press conference set to announce its plans for the Japanese market, he could be a huge acquisition for the world’s largest martial arts organization in ONE Super Series or mixed martial arts bouts.

Nasukawa will also continue to represent the TARGET team.

The announcement follows hot on the heels of confirmation that ONE star Petrosyan will also join the team and appear in Singapore on a seasonal basis.

The 32-year-old Armenian-Italian is widely considered to be the best pound-for-pound kickboxer on the planet, and made a successful debut in ONE’s striking-only league by defeating “Smokin” Jo Nattawut at ONE: HEROES OF HONOR in April.

“The Doctor” is undefeated since November 2013, and is expected to return to action in ONE later in 2018.
