What would happen if Amir Khan the mixed martial artist faced Amir “King” Khan the world champion boxer in a mixed martial arts bout?
Evolve’s lightweight star gave a quick breakdown of a fantasy match-up against his namesake in his Face To Face interview with ONE Championship’s Matt Connolly.
The British pugilist has expressed his interest in the past about testing his punching prowess in the cage, but the 23-year-old Singaporean does not think that would be such a good idea – especially if he were to face him.
“I don’t think he’d survive a round with me. I mean, he’s just a boxer – he’s one-dimensional,” he said.
“He doesn’t have a good chin too. Especially with the small gloves, I don’t think it would be a good night for him.”
