The Best Pictures From ONE Fight Night 44
The world’s largest martial arts organization returned to the Thai capital this past Friday, June 26, with another thrilling U.S. primetime card that delivered electrifying action from start to finish.
ONE Fight Night 44: Jarvis vs. Rungrawee II emanated live from the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, and featured nine explosive bouts across Muay Thai, kickboxing, MMA, and submission grappling. The stacked lineup had something for every martial arts enthusiast, including jaw-dropping finishes and nail-biting contests that kept fans on the edge of their seats.
In the main event, George “G-Unit” Jarvis authored a dominant performance against Rungrawee “Legatron” Sitsongpeenong in their high-stakes rematch. The British striker turned off his Thai opponent’s lights with a spectacular second-round knockout, coming from behind to secure a decisive victory and make a statement.
The co-main event featured a massive upset, as Brazil’s Lucas Gabriel claimed the biggest victory of his career. In a tough three-round contest, he outworked former ONE Lightweight MMA World Champion Ok Rae Yoon, earning a hard-fought split decision that elevated his profile among the division’s top contenders.
Also, in the curtain-raiser, Paul “King of the North” Elliott wasted no time showcasing his power. The Englishman sent American heavyweight MMA fighter Regan Upshaw to the canvas with a head kick in a lightning-fast six seconds, delivering one of the night’s most shocking moments to open the show.
