Rebecca “The Professor” Heintzman-Rozewski

NAAFS Strawweight Champion Rebecca “The Professor” Heintzman-Rozewski grew up in Portland, Oregon, and was a successful soccer player in college. After graduating, she was left with a competitive void which she needed to fill, and she decided the solution was to start training and competing in martial arts.

In 2012, she made her amateur mixed martial arts debut, and went on to win six bouts out of six, an achievement that was recognized when Heintzman-Rozewski was named ‘Breakout Female Fighter of the Year’. During this period, she captured two titles in American amateur mixed martial arts promotions.

Heintzman-Rozewski made a successful professional debut in 2013, and followed that up with another winning effort. She moved to Shanghai, China, a year later with her husband, where they both currently live and teach martial arts at Animal MMA while competing in ONE Championship.
