Mansur Malachiev

Mixed martial arts standout Mansur Malachiev is a lifelong wrestler who was born in the talent-rich Russian region of Dagestan.

There, he wrestled from a young age. However, Malachiev had long wanted to try his hand at MMA and, in 2014, he did just that. 

Like many Dagestani wrestlers before him, Malachiev’s transition was a natural one. The MMA debutant submitted his opponent in the first round with a kimura lock. That win kicked off a dominant run on the Russian circuit that saw him compile a perfect 10-0 record with eight finishes. 

Now residing in Moscow and training at the famous Universal Fighters gym alongside some of Russia’s best, Malachiev is ready to bring his suffocating wrestling game to the global stage in search of ONE World Title glory. 

In his first assignment, Malachiev faces surging Filipino contender Jeremy Miado at ONE Fight Night 11: Eersel vs. Menshikov on Prime Video. A victory over “The Jaguar” would be the perfect introduction for the Russian finisher, as he looks to shake up the stacked strawweight division.
