Mansur Malachiev

Mixed martial arts standout Mansur Malachiev is a lifelong wrestler who was born in the talent-rich Russian region of Dagestan. There, he wrestled from a young age. However, Malachiev had long wanted to try his hand at MMA, and in 2014, he did just that. 

Like many Dagestani wrestlers before him, Malachiev’s transition was a natural one. In June 2014, the grappler submitted his opponent in the first round with a kimura lock. That victory kicked off a dominant run on the Russian circuit, where registered a spotless 10-0 record with an 80 percent finishing rate and became a two-division Eagle FC Champion.

Now residing in Moscow and training at the famous Universal Fighters gym alongside some of Russia’s best, Malachiev is ready to bring his suffocating wrestling game to the global stage in search of ONE World Title glory. 

Malachiev made quite the impression in his promotional debut by finishing Jeremy Miado in June 2023. Unfortunately, he tasted defeat for the first time in his career when former ONE Strawweight MMA World Champion Joshua Pacio eked out a decision last October.

Now, the Russian destroyer looks to get back on the winning track at ONE Fight Night 19. There, he’ll face another former ONE Strawweight MMA World Champion – this time, it’s Yosuke Saruta.
