Yoshihiro Akiyama Knocks Out Sherif Mohamed In The First Round
Yoshihiro “Sexy Yama” Akiyama was rocked early in his welterweight battle with Egypt’s Sherif “The Shark” Mohamed at ONE: KING OF THE JUNGLE on Friday, 28 February in Singapore. However, he overcame that early adversity.
The Japanese-South Korean mixed martial arts legend tenderized Mohamed’s lead leg with fierce kicks. Then, when “The Shark” ran forward, the icon dropped him with a beautiful right hook.
Akiyama followed-up with a single ground punch to claim the first-round knockout victory.
