The Inner Circle 25 brought another electric night of martial arts action to Bangkok’s iconic Lumpinee Stadium this past Friday, August 7, as five compelling matchups delivered drama, momentum swings, and major World Title implications.
Streaming exclusively on live.onefc.com in Asia primetime, the members-only show featured a memorable main event upset, a surprising conclusion in a high-profile rematch, and another sharp display from one of kickboxing’s most accomplished stars.
In the headline attraction, three-division Lumpinee Stadium World Champion Suakim PongSuphan PK shocked former ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nabil Anane via split decision in their World Title eliminator.
Suakim’s pivotal second-round knockdown proved to be the difference-maker, and it helped earn him the biggest victory of his ONE Championship career, a US$50,000 performance bonus, and a future shot at the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title.
Before that, Abdulla “Smash Boy” Dayakaev made it 2-0 against reigning ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Champion Superlek in their bantamweight Muay Thai rematch. After weathering a strong first round from “The Kicking Machine,” Dayakaev stormed back and secured a second-round TKO when the Thai suffered a leg injury during an exchange.
The card also saw Marat Grigorian punch his ticket to the semifinals of the ONE SAMURAI Featherweight Kickboxing Tournament with a decisive unanimous decision victory over Mamuka Usubyan.
Earlier in the night, Dabdam Por Tor Tor Thongtawee snapped a four-bout skid with a third-round TKO of Tahaneak Nayokatasala, and 16-year-old sensation Chatpet Suablackmuaythai avenged a previous loss to Riku Ito to open the event.
