Mamuka Usubyan turns every fight into a chess match, and he rarely loses control of the board.

The southpaw honed his craft at the respected Archangel Michael camp in Yekaterinburg, Russia, emerging as one of Europe’s most refined strikers. During his kickboxing journey, he claimed a Fair Fight Lightweight Title and stacked wins against seasoned competition, including former ONE Championship star Dzhabar Askerov. Along the way, he earned a reputation for his surgical, range-based game.

That precision has translated seamlessly to the global stage. Usubyan made his promotional debut at ONE Friday Fights 52 in February 2024, defeating future ONE World Title challenger Shadow Singha Mawynn by decision at Bangkok’s iconic Lumpinee Stadium and setting the tone for a brilliant run.

Every outing since has followed a familiar script. Behind a long, punishing jab and relentless body kicks, the Russian dictates the distance and forces opponents to fight his fight. Usubyan has claimed three more victories under the ONE banner, including a win over ISKA World Champion Enzo Kartoum.

With momentum firmly on his side, the Russian officially joined ONE Championship’s global roster and continues his charge toward the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Title.
