Michelle Nicolini scored the biggest win of her mixed martial arts career at ONE: MASTERS OF DESTINY, getting one over on teammate-turned-rival Angela Lee. In the first round, the eight-time BJJ World Champion wasted no time bringing Lee into her world, asserting her dominance on the ground. It was much of the same from the Brazilian in the second stanza, as she dragged the Singaporean sensation to the canvas and controlled most of the action the mat. Though the Singaporean sensation staged a late comeback in the third frame, Nicolini’s steady dose of ground and pound proved to be the difference as she claimed a massive unanimous decision victory against the ONE Atomweight World Champion.
