Before they can throw down at Bangkok’s iconic Lumpinee Stadium, every athlete must first make weight and pass hydration testing to ensure they can safely compete.

In the main event of ONE Fight Night 29, reigning ONE Women’s Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Allycia Hellen Rodrigues will put her gold on the line against highly touted debutant Marie McManamon.
With impressive victories over the likes of current ONE Women’s Atomweight MMA World Champion Stamp Fairtex and decorated American striker Janet Todd, Rodrigues has enjoyed a reign of terror in the atomweight Muay Thai division.
McManamon, though, has spent the past several years dominating the UK Muay Thai circuit, showing she has the well-rounded striking skills to spring the upset and claim 26 pounds of gold.
Before that, 21-year-old phenoms Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon and Parham Gheirati will go toe-to-toe in a bantamweight Muay Thai contest that has all the makings of an epic barnburner, with each young athlete hungry to assert himself as the next big Muay Thai superstar.
Plus, fans won’t want to miss the return of undefeated Turkish sensation Shamil Erdogan, who will look to move to 4-0 in ONE when he takes on dangerous Brazilian veteran Gilberto Galvao in an explosive light heavyweight MMA tilt.
The card will also feature the hotly anticipated ONE debut of ultra-accomplished submission grappler Diogo “Baby Shark” Reis, as well as the U.S. primetime debut of Thai fan favorite Nontachai Jitmuangnon.
ONE’s groundbreaking hydration testing protocol is designed to combat the dangers of extreme weight cutting and ensure that each fighter can safely compete at the contracted weight while hydrated.
