Tokyo Builders’ Arena: Sui Ignites Japan’s New Battleground For Innovation

Tokyo Builder Arena

A new kind of arena is opening in Japan. Not one of fists and fury, but of code and creativity – where warriors of innovation will enter the ring to test their skill, speed, and spirit.

Welcome to the Tokyo Builders’ Arena, an electrifying 24-hour hackathon powered by Sui, the trailblazing Layer 1 blockchain that’s redefining Web3.

Set against the backdrop of Tokyo’s thriving tech scene, this event is a call to builders, dreamers, and digital fighters to step forward and make their mark – with the same courage and discipline that drives the world’s greatest martial artists.

The Challenge: Build With Heart, Code With Purpose

From November 14 to 15 at Pacific Hub Tokyo, participants will go head-to-head in a relentless, high-intensity buildathon.

Armed with Sui’s cutting-edge technology and guided by the principles of ONE Championship – integrity, courage, humility, and excellence – developers will have one mission: to create new ways for ONE fans and athletes to connect through the power of Web3.

Over the course of 24 hours, teams will brainstorm, build, and pitch their vision. Every second counts. Every idea is a strike. And every line of code brings them closer to victory.

The Rewards: Recognition, Glory, and the Ultimate Experience

Just as ONE’s athletes fight for honor inside the Circle, builders at Tokyo Builders’ Arena will battle for recognition on the world stage.

The champions will take home:

  • 🥇 1st Place – US$4,000
  • 🥈 2nd Place – US$2,000
  • 🥉 3rd Place – US$1,000

Additional category prizes will spotlight the best in innovation and execution, including awards for:

  • Best Smart Contract
  • Best UX
  • ONE Championship’s Favorite
  • Best Demo Pitch/Video
  • Best Chin/Beast Mode (Who Slept the Least)

And the victors won’t just win prizes – they’ll earn a chance to attend ONE 173, live at Ariake Arena, where they can witness world-class athletes perform at the highest level.

Because in this arena, every builder who dares to compete becomes part of something greater – a community that celebrates passion, performance, and progress.

The Arena Awaits

This is more than a hackathon. It’s a proving ground.

Whether you’re a solo developer or part of a two-person team, this is your chance to build with conviction, to push your limits, and to show the world what’s possible on Sui.

As the lights go up at Pacific Hub Tokyo, one question remains –

Will you stand on the sidelines? Or will you step into the arena and fight for your idea?

Because World Champions aren’t born. They’re built.
