The Stars Predict Joseph Lasiri Vs. Rodtang Jitmuangnon At ONE On Prime Video 4

Rodtang Jitmuangnon and Joseph Lasiri at the ONE on Prime Video 4 Ceremonial Faceoffs

Two of the most explosive strikers in ONE Championship history are about to step into the Circle and entertain the global fan base in what’s expected to be a Fight of the Year contender.

This Friday, November 18, strawweight Muay Thai king Joseph Lasiri moves up a division to challenge reigning ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon in the co-main event of ONE on Prime Video 4.

Rodtang has been nearly invincible during his four-year run in the world’s largest martial arts organization.

The Thai megastar has gone 11-0 in Muay Thai and kickboxing fights under the ONE Championship banner, giving him the most promotional wins of all time in the all-striking divisions.

Furthermore, “The Iron Man” has endeared himself to fans with his seemingly granite chin, unrelenting forward pressure, heavy punches, decimating low kicks, and in-Circle theatrics.

But while Rodtang may be the favorite, Lasiri has proven to be the upset king.

After losing his first four matches in ONE’s flyweight Muay Thai division, the Italian-Moroccan handed future ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Champion Hiroki Akimoto the only blemish of his professional career.

And after moving down a weigh class, Lasiri won three bouts in a row and finished modern-day legend Prajanchai PK.Saenchai to claim the ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Title.

Now, he hopes to replicate that magic when he challenges Rodtang for the flyweight Muay Thai belt on Friday night.

Before these two reigning World Champions collide in the ONE on Prime Video 4 co-main event, their fellow ONE Championship stars make their predictions.

Aung La N Sang

“That’s going to be a tough fight for Joseph. If the right Rodtang comes out, it’s going to be a tough fight for Joseph. Joseph is in for a tough fight, for sure.”

Liam Harrison

“I really like Lasiri, but at 135 pounds, he’s just not big or strong enough to cause Rodtang real problems. I think, and hope, Lasiri stays champion and a formidable force at 125, but at 135, he’s a bit too small.”

Stamp Fairtex

“Lasiri is very active, but I think Rodtang will win. If Rodtang is careless, though Lasiri can win because Lasiri has dangerous elbows.”

Demetrious Johnson

“Well, I hope Joseph Lasiri’s got a tough chin, because if not, he’s going to get knocked the f*** out.”

Jackie Buntan

“This is an interesting clash of styles. I think Rodtang will take the win, but if Joseph has a game plan to stifle Rodtang’s usual energy, he may have his hand raised!”

Jonathan Di Bella

“This will be a close and tough fight between these champions. I will have to go with my fellow countryman Joseph Lasiri by decision. I believe that Lasiri has the reach advantage and forward pressure.”

Sage Northcutt

“They’re both great fighters, but Rodtang is extremely tough and aggressive, so that could be the advantage.”

Marcus ‘Buchecha’ Almeida

“Rodtang, the man of the steel, will walk forward the whole fight and keep the pressure to win!”
