Stamp Fairtex sent a message to the women’s atomweight division on Friday, 31 July – and it was heard loud and clear.

From the opening bell, the reigning ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion meant business.

Stamp stalked her debuting opponent around the ring while patiently looking for a chance to get into the clinch, and once she got there, it was virtually over for “Thunderstorm.”

The Fairtex representative wrapped her hands around her foe’s neck and drove piercing knees into her body.

Srisen, who had no answer for her rival’s clinch knees, caught a wave of relief after the referee separated the two women. However, that would be the last time the Mister Kok Gym standout would get a breather.

The Rayong province native worked her way back into the clinch, where she punished “Thunderstorm” with more knees and some added elbows.

Stamp then scored a takedown and landed in side control, which set up the perfect opportunity for her to transition to Srisen’s back and rain down punches.

Although the Chonburi resident held on to a headlock, the Fairtex representative kept landing her left fist cleanly. It was clear the 19-year-old debutante was eating too many shots, and that forced the referee to step in and stop the contest at 3:59 of round one.

The win improved Stamp’s mixed martial arts record to 5-0, and now she moves one step closer to three-sport glory and a shot at the division’s crown, which is currently held by ONE Women’s Atomweight World Champion “Unstoppable” Angela Lee.
