Selina Flores Vs. Johanna Persson Muay Thai War Added To ONE Fight Night 41
American striking star Selina “The Teep Queen” Flores will return to the ONE Championship ring to face former ONE Women’s Atomweight Muay Thai World Title challenger Johanna Persson at ONE Fight Night 41: Rodrigues vs. Phetjeeja.
The 27-year-old will meet the Sitjaopho Muaythai and Gefle Fight Camp product in an exhilarating atomweight Muay Thai clash on Friday, March 13, airing live in U.S. primetime from the prestigious Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Flores made a statement in her promotional debut in October 2025 at ONE Fight Night 36, where she battered former World Title challenger Marie McManamon to secure a unanimous decision victory in an impressive showing.
The San Diego native, who holds a 9-1 professional striking record, showcased the technical prowess and fight IQ that have made her a WBC Muay Thai World Champion.
Known for her trademark teeps and ability to maintain distance while picking opponents apart with kicks, the American striker showed that her skills can translate seamlessly onto the global stage. Now, after dismantling a former contender in her debut, Flores plans a repeat performance in her sophomore outing.
On the other hand, Persson presents a formidable test for the American as she looks to open her account in the world’s largest martial arts organization.
The Swedish fighter challenged Allycia Hellen Rodrigues for the ONE Women’s Atomweight Muay Thai World Title in 2025, though she suffered a third-round knockout loss in championship clash. Despite the setback, the 31-year-old remains a dangerous competitor with a 13-4 professional record and her own WBC Muay Thai World Championship resume.
The Swedish standout brings a contrasting style to the matchup, preferring to close the distance and unleash devastating elbows. Persson, who started training Muay Thai later in life when she was 23 years old, has developed into an elite-level striker known for her aggressive approach.
The stylistic contrast between Flores’ distance management and Persson’s pressure-heavy, elbow-focused attack sets up an intriguing chess match.
Flores will look to use her teeps and kicks to keep the Swedish striker at bay, while Persson will aim to close the gap and impose her will in close quarters.
