Rich Franklin's ONE Warrior Series Touches Down In Myanmar

OWS myanmar1

After traveling to many of ONE Championship’s most vibrant markets during its two seasons to date, Rich Franklin’s One Warrior Series (OWS) has finally made it to Myanmar.

The catalyst for the trip was Punnya Sai, who impressed ONE Vice President Rich Franklin during a sparring session.

The 19-year-old lives and trains in Bali, Indonesia, and has also lived in Thailand and New Zealand. On the latest episode of the show, he returned to his homeland for the first time since he left it as a baby nearly two decades ago.

While on the trip, Punnya Sai reconnected with family members he has not seen since his family left the country, and passes on some of the knowledge that has made him one of the athletes to watch in OWS.

The featherweight prospect impressed with a submission of Sai Nyan Lin at the ONE Warrior Series 2 Mid-Season Finale in July, which meant his spot on future events was all but guaranteed.

He will return to action at ONE Warrior Series 3, which will broadcast live from Singapore on the ONE Super App on 11 October.
