Ortikov, Estupinan, Adiwang Among New Additions To ONE Fight Night 43; Full Card Revealed

Aslamjon Ortikov vs. Jordan Estupinan

ONE Championship has finalized the card for ONE Fight Night 43: Tang vs. Gasanov on Prime Video with three exhilarating new bouts, setting the stage for a stacked night of world-class martial arts action.

The event broadcasts live in U.S. primetime from the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, May 15.

Undefeated Uzbek phenom Aslamjon Ortikov will collide with Colombia’s Jordan Estupinan in a flyweight Muay Thai tilt, Indonesian Wrestling Champion Eko Roni Saputra will meet Filipino fan favorite Lito Adiwang in a bantamweight MMA showdown, and Chinese striker Luo Chao will face Brazilian sensation Denis Souza Jr. in a featherweight kickboxing affair.

Following a brief delay, Ortikov will finally meet Estupinan in the ring.

The pair were originally slated to battle at ONE Fight Night 42 last month, but the Colombian firecracker was forced to withdraw from the contest due to injury.

Now, with both men healthy and ready to compete, the match is officially back on.

Ortikov is one of the most exciting talents in the flyweight Muay Thai division, carrying a perfect 23-0 career record and a flawless 9-0 promotional slate into the contest.

The 23-year-old Uzbek, who trains out of TC Muaythai and Sport Club Shakhriyor, has recorded four finishes inside ONE, and he owns victories over the likes of former top-five contender Dedduanglek Torfunfarm and multiple-time Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Champion Kongthoranee Sor Sommai.

Standing across the ring from him will be Estupinan, a fellow 23-year-old with a 9-1 career record and a 2-1 promotional mark. After suffering his first professional blemish at the hands of Hyu Iwata last September, the Colombian is determined to return to winning ways and make a statement against arguably his toughest opponent to date.

The bantamweight MMA landscape will get a fascinating shakeup with the addition of a clash between Saputra and Adiwang.

Saputra’s professional debut was cut short when he suffered an elbow strike to the head, which opened a gash and led to a doctor’s stoppage. But after that heartbreaking defeat, the Indonesian caught fire, as he finished his next seven opponents.

A run of setbacks disrupted that momentum, but the 35-year-old arrives at ONE Fight Night 43 with his all-round skill set refreshed and a burning desire to recapture the form that once made him one of the most feared names in the flyweight MMA division.

Standing in his way is Adiwang, a 33-year-old warrior with a 17-6 career record and a 10-4 promotional slate that includes six finishes.

The Filipino is at the peak of his powers, having won four of his last five contests. What’s more, he enters the battle on the back of a first-round TKO victory that underlines just how dangerous he remains at the top level.

Another victory, especially in highlight-reel fashion, could see him enter the upper echelon of the flyweight MMA division or perhaps give him a fresh start in the bantamweight ranks.

Finally, in a featherweight kickboxing showdown, both Luo and Souza Jr. will attempt to send a loud message to the rest of the strikers in the bustling division.

Luo is a 25-year-old standout with a 42-11 career record. The Chinese star previously competed in the organization’s developmental league, ONE Hero Series, on multiple occasions and has been building toward a moment like this.

But Souza Jr. has been near-flawless in his career. The debuting Brazilian is a multiple-time South American Champion who owns a 16-1 professional slate, and at ONE Fight Night 43, he looks to showcase his skills on the global stage and announce his arrival in grand fashion.
