Isi Fitikefu Meets Undefeated Chase Mann In Welterweight MMA Battle At ONE Fight Night 39
ONE Championship has confirmed a marquee welterweight MMA matchup between Australian-Tongan veteran Isi “Doxz” Fitikefu and undefeated American promotional newcomer Chase “Mannimal” Mann.
The pair will clash at ONE Fight Night 39: Rambolek vs. Dayakaev on January 23, 2026, broadcasting live from Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium in U.S. primetime.
This bout represents a rescheduled opportunity for Fitikefu, who was originally slated to face undefeated Turkish fighter Dzhabir Dzhabrailov at ONE Fight Night 38 on Prime Video in December. That contest was called off because Dzhabrailov withdrew due to an injury.
The 33-year-old Sydney-based fighter enters seeking his third consecutive victory. Fitikefu transitioned from rugby to martial arts before finding his calling in MMA, arriving at ONE Championship in November 2022 with an unblemished 7-0 record.
His promotional debut proved challenging as he dropped a narrow split decision to Ruslan Emilbek Uulu. Facing adversity early in his ONE career, the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Smeaton Grange representative responded emphatically by submitting Brazil’s Valmir da Silva via first-round rear-naked choke at ONE Fight Night 9 in April 2023.
Fitikefu continued building momentum at ONE 168: Denver in 2024, where he halted the five-fight winning streak of Hiroyuki “Japanese Beast” Tetsuka. Another victory will solidify his position among the welterweight division’s emerging contenders.
Standing opposite him will be one of American MMA’s most promising undefeated stars.
The 29-year-old Mann makes his highly anticipated promotional debut carrying a perfect 6-0 professional record. The well-rounded fighter has showcased finishing ability across all areas, securing victories via both knockout and submission throughout his unblemished career.
His arrival in ONE Championship represents a significant step up in competition, testing his skills against proven divisional talent. A successful debut against the experienced Fitikefu would immediately establish Mann as a legitimate welterweight threat.
