Muay Thai legend Nong O Hama kicks Thai pads ahead at an open workout ahead of ONE Friday Fights 147

Three of Thailand’s most dangerous Muay Thai warriors put their striking on full display earlier this week at an open workout session, giving the media a small preview of the firepower that’s set to ignite ONE Friday Fights 147 in Asia primetime on March 20.

Legendary ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Title challenger Nong-O Hama, ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title challenger Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon, and flyweight Muay Thai contender Jaosuayai Mor Krungthepthonburi each showcased their skills and spoke to reporters ahead of their appearances at the prestigious Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Nong-O: The Legend Chasing History

At 39 years old, Nong-O Hama has nothing left to prove – and yet, he keeps raising the stakes.

The Evolve MMA representative is one of the most decorated fighters in Muay Thai history, boasting a staggering 267-58 career record and eight ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title victories. Since making his ONE debut in 2018, he has gone 12-4 in the promotion, which includes a dominant 10-bout winning streak that cemented his status as one of the greatest to ever step inside the ring.

Now, having moved down to flyweight, he’s just one triumph away from becoming a two-division ONE World Champion. Standing in his way is a formidable obstacle – that being undefeated Russian phenom Asadula Imangazaliev, who enters the contest with a spotless 11-0 career record, including seven victories in the world’s largest martial arts organization.

For Nong-O, this is not just another battle. It is a shot at combat sports immortality.

Rambolek: The Challenger Has Arrived

Few fighters have made a louder statement in recent months than the 22-year-old Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon.

The Superbon Training Camp product, who perfects his craft under the watchful eyes of ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Superbon and the legend Nong-O himself, has been a wrecking ball on the ONE Friday Fights circuit.

Rambolek arrives at ONE Friday Fights 147 riding a five-bout winning streak, the latest chapter of which saw him punch his ticket to a ONE World Title shot by stopping dangerous Russian contender Abdulla Dayakaev in January.

Now with a 67-14 career record, the hard-hitting Thai challenger will square off against undisputed ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nabil Anane, a 21-year-old Algerian-Thai phenom who has won seven of eight Muay Thai bouts in the promotion and has already proven himself against the very best in the division.

Jaosuayai: Bouncing Back With A Bang

Rounding out the trio is 24-year-old Jaosuayai Mor Krungthepthonburi, who will bring his trademark explosive power to a flyweight Muay Thai showdown against his Thai compatriot Pompet PongSuphan PK.

The Sor Dechapan affiliate built his reputation as a fearsome knockout artist. He strung together a five-bout winning streak before back-to-back defeats against elite opposition temporarily derailed his momentum.

Determined to silence any doubters and remind the world of his ability, Jaosuayai enters this all-Thai clash with redemption firmly on his mind. A statement win in Asia primetime on March 20 would instantly remedy that.

Before ONE Friday Fights 147 goes down, take a look at some photos from the trio’s recent open workout.
