Heavyweight MMA Clash Between Ben Tynan And Duke Didier Added To ONE Fight Night 21

Ben “Vanilla Thunder” Tynan will look to continue his ascent toward the top of ONE’s heavyweight MMA division at ONE Fight Night 21: Eersel vs. Nicolas on Prime Video. 

Following an impressive debut last November, the unbeaten Canadian will face Duke “The Duke of Canberra” Didier in U.S primetime on Friday, April 5.

Tynan entered the world’s largest martial arts organization with high expectations at ONE Fight Night 16, coming up against the hard-hitting “Mighty Warrior” Kang Ji Won. 

Kang had already notched three knockout wins in ONE before their meeting, but “Vanilla Thunder” dominated the South Korean with his wrestling en route to a third-round submission finish.  

Now a perfect 5-0 overall – with each win coming inside the distance – the charismatic 30-year-old could take another huge leap forward if he becomes the first man to finish the battle-hardened Australian.

Didier is more experienced than his upcoming foe, boasting an 8-2 MMA record that includes five submission victories. 

With his world-class grappling prowess, the judo and BJJ black belt will ask some important questions of “Vanilla Thunder,” who could be pushed harder than in any other matchup to date.

The 34-year-old is also eager to earn his first ONE victory after a split-decision defeat in his debut, and he could steal some of Tynan’s momentum with a strong performance in Bangkok.
