Full Card Revealed For ONE Friday Fights 174 On October 9
This Friday, October 9, the world’s largest martial arts organization returns to Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, live in Asia primetime for another stacked card of rising stars chasing a US$100,000 contract and a spot on ONE Championship’s main roster.
ONE Friday Fights 174 features nine bouts across Muay Thai, kickboxing, and MMA, highlighted by a main event between a tested rising star and a former contracted athlete.
In the main event, Dedduanglek Torfunfarm meets Mongkoldetlek Por Pim-on in a bantamweight Muay Thai contest.
The 23-year-old Dedduanglek has shared the ring with some of the division’s biggest names during his ONE tenure, picking up notable wins over Taiki “Silent Sniper” Naito in a U.S. primetime showcase, Wuttikrai Wor Chakrawut, Cyber Sor Tienpo, and Sonrak Fairtex. Representing TDed99, he’ll look to add another notable name to that list.
Mongkoldetlek, 31, is a Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion who challenged future ONE World Champions Joseph “The Hurricane” Lasiri and Jonathan “The General” Haggerty earlier in his career.
Unlike many of his counterparts on the weekly series, he’s fighting his way back toward a contract. He enters on a three-fight winning streak that includes a TKO of Utkirzhon Khamidov at ONE Friday Fights 163.
In the co-main event, Khundet PK Saenchai takes on Mexico’s Aldo Cruz in a flyweight Muay Thai showdown.
The 21-year-old Khundet has shown a knack for finishing fights, picking up a first-round TKO of ManU Sitjanim before scoring a unanimous decision over Anuar Cisneros at ONE Friday Fights 148.
Cruz, 24, pushed standout Buakaew Sor Sor Pakorn the distance in a split-decision defeat at ONE Friday Fights 162, and he picked up a first-round TKO of Wan Muhammad Sabri at ONE Friday Fights 153. The Real Fighters Mexico representative will look to prove he belongs on the weekly series.
