Worapon Lukjaoporongtom Kongkula Jitmuangnon ONE Friday Fights 127 8

This Friday, January 23, the world’s largest martial arts organization will kick off a doubleheader weekend in Bangkok, Thailand, with another explosive installment of its weekly Asia primetime event series.

Before ONE Fight Night 39: Rambolek vs. Dayakaev airs live in U.S. primetime, ONE Friday Fights 139 will feature 14 intriguing matchups across Muay Thai, kickboxing, and MMA, showcasing international stars from around the globe — most of whom will be chasing the US$100,000 contract and spot on ONE Championship’s main roster.

In the headline attraction, Thai veteran Worapon Lukjaoporongtom squares off with already-contracted Myanmar powerhouse Soe Lin Oo in a bantamweight Muay Thai clash that promises nonstop action.

The 23-year-old Worapon has established himself as one of the division’s most complete fighters through his extensive ONE Friday Fights campaign. With a devastating left body kick and elite clinch skills, the southpaw can dominate at every range. Most recently suffering a decision loss to Julio Lobo, Worapon will be determined to bounce back against formidable opposition.

Standing across from him will be Soe Lin Oo, nicknamed “Man of Steel” for his relentless pressure and granite chin. The 33-year-old National Lethwei Champion has earned a spot on ONE Championship’s main roster through his thrilling performances, including spectacular knockout victories that earned him both bonuses and his contract. With 71 of his 74 wins coming by knockout, Soe Lin Oo brings devastating finishing power built around aggressive boxing and constant forward pressure.

Before that, in strawweight Muay Thai action, French phenom Sandro Bosi collides with Thai technician Petsangwan Sor Samarngarment in what should be a compelling clash of styles.

Still just 17 years old, Bosi has already captured a Channel 7 Championship belt — becoming the first and only international fighter to win this prestigious title. Nicknamed “Alek,” the fearless young striker brings explosive punching power and a high fight IQ that allows him to adapt on the fly. Most recently, he scored a spectacular first-round knockout at ONE Friday Fights 124.

The 23-year-old Petsangwan offers a contrasting approach with his patient, technical style. Training at PK Saenchai Muaythaigym alongside elite teammates like ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai, the Thai striker uses his lanky frame to control distance with accurate body kicks before dominating in the clinch with well-timed elbows.

Also, fans won’t want to miss the featured bout of the evening — a flyweight Muay Thai showdown between battle-tested veteran Khunponnoi Sor Sommai and undefeated teenage sensation Rustam “Tomahawk” Yunusov.

The 33-year-old Khunponnoi brings more than 150 professional fights worth of experience into this bout, including an impressive six-fight winning streak. The southpaw pressure fighter is the older brother of Seksan Or Kwanmuang and has built a fearsome reputation with his powerful straight left and devastating left body kick. With 27 career knockout victories, Khunponnoi knows how to finish fights.

Yunusov represents the new generation of striking prodigies at just 18 years old. The Russian southpaw has looked absolutely sensational through his perfect 15-0 professional record, earning 11 knockouts. Training with the Tomahawk Kamilov Team, Yunusov combines crisp technical skills with intelligent footwork and a fast-paced attack that has overwhelmed every opponent he’s faced.

Lower on the card, Gabriele “The Gentleman” Lionetti aims to extend his perfect MMA record when he takes on debuting Vietnamese striker Thoan “Thunder” Nguyen Thanh in a strawweight bout.

The 25-year-old Italian brings a well-rounded skill set honed through years of jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, and boxing training. Most recently, Lionetti showcased his grappling prowess with a second-round armbar submission victory at ONE Friday Fights 118, demonstrating his ability to finish fights on the ground.

The 22-year-old Thanh enters undefeated with a patient, explosive striking style built around feints and powerful straight rights. Both athletes will be looking to make a statement in their quest for the coveted contract.
