French teenage knockout artist “Alek” Sandro Bosi kept his momentum rolling with another composed performance in the co-main event of ONE Friday Fights 139.

On Friday, January 23, live in Asia primetime at Bangkok’s iconic Lumpinee Stadium, the 17-year-old’s sharp and relentless striking powered him to a clear-cut unanimous decision victory over Petsangwan Sor Samarngarment in their strawweight Muay Thai battle.

Bosi opened the first round with a crisp three-strike combination that flowed from a body shot into a head kick. He continued to press the action, landing stabbing knees from the clinch and stepping forward with sustained punches to the body and head.

Though largely on the defensive, Petsangwan fired back with timely counters. But he didn’t overcommit to any attack with Bosi’s truck-like right fist, which shut down Kirill Chizhik in one round at ONE Friday Fights 124, waiting in the wings.

With momentum in his stride, “Alek” shifted into attack from the get-go in round two.

His decision to put pedal to the metal helped him floor his foe with a right hook in mere seconds. When action resumed following an accidental eye poke, both fighters traded heavy punches that momentarily forced each man onto the back foot.

With the win there for the taking, both strikers held nothing back in the final three minutes. Petsangwan threw everything but the kitchen sink in search of the spectacular, but Bosi protected his lead with sharp teeps and plenty of success during every close-range exchange.

After three action-packed rounds, Bosi earned the unanimous nod from the judges, improving his record to 66-11 and moving to 2-0 on the global stage – a result that further strengthened his push toward a coveted US$100,000 main roster contract.
