Full Card Revealed For ONE Friday Fights 136 On December 12
This Friday, December 12, the world’s largest martial arts organization will return to Bangkok, Thailand, with another explosive installment of its weekly Asia primetime event series.
ONE Friday Fights 136 features 12 intriguing matchups across Muay Thai, kickboxing, MMA, and submission grappling, showcasing elite athletes from around the globe — all of whom will be chasing the US$100,000 contract and spot on ONE Championship’s main roster.
In the headline attraction, legendary Thai striker Panpayak Jitmuangnon squares off with Chinese knockout artist Zhao Chongyang in a flyweight kickboxing clash that promises fireworks.
A seven-time Muay Thai World Champion who won the prestigious Sports Writers of Thailand Fighter of the Year award three consecutive times, the 29-year-old Panpayak is one of the sport’s most decorated competitors.
His phenomenal technical ability centers around a devastating left body kick that has defined his career, complemented by sharp boxing and elite clinch skills. After suffering a first-round knockout loss in his most recent appearance, “The Angel Warrior” is determined to return to winning form.
Standing across from him will be the 28-year-old Zhao, who has emerged as a dangerous finisher in his own right. Most recently, the Chinese striker captured attention with a spectacular second-round head kick knockout at ONE Friday Fights 124, coming from behind after being dominated throughout the fight.
Fighting out of X-Level Fighting Club, Zhao uses intelligent footwork to set up explosive combinations, making him a constant threat to end fights suddenly.
Before that, in lightweight Muay Thai action, surging Thai phenom Petkhaokradong Lukjaomaesaithong collides with Turkish finisher Ali Kelat in what should be a high-paced battle.
The 20-year-old Petkhaokradong bounced back from a devastating first-round knockout loss to Alaverdi Ramazanov by scoring his own first-round knockout victory in his most recent appearance. The southpaw brings an aggressive, fast-paced style built around powerful left body kicks and relentless forward pressure, using straight knees to overwhelm opponents.
Kelat arrives riding an impressive 11-fight winning streak that includes eight knockouts. The 26-year-old Turkish National Champion brings a well-rounded boxing game and dangerous flying knees that make him a constant finishing threat. Training out of Team Mehdi Zatout, Kelat is looking to climb toward contract consideration with another solid performance.
Also, fans won’t want to miss the featured lightweight Muay Thai showdown between undefeated Russian star Maksim Bakhtin and Iraqi technician Mustafa Al Tekreeti.
The 22-year-old Bakhtin has looked nothing short of spectacular through his first two ONE appearances, earning consecutive knockout victories. The unpredictable striker uses exceptional footwork and creative attacks, including spinning elbows and flying techniques, to catch opponents off guard.
Al Tekreeti, meanwhile, brings a wealth of Muay Thai experience into this bout. The 27-year-old Iraqi fighter is a well-rounded technical counter-striker who chooses his attacks carefully, using accurate kicks and heavy elbows. Most recently scoring a decision victory over Eduard Saik, Al Tekreeti looks to play spoiler against the Russian.
Lower on the card, flyweight Muay Thai veteran Amir Naseri aims to snap his three-fight losing streak when he takes on Chinese power puncher Zhang Jinhu in what promises to be an action-packed clash.
The 33-year-old Naseri is a former Omnoi Stadium Champion who brings aggressive, knockout-hunting energy into every exchange. Despite recent setbacks, the Malaysian-Iranian striker remains dangerous with his heavy combinations and diverse elbow attacks.
The 20-year-old Zhang has spent considerable time training in Thailand since age 18. With an aggressive kickboxing style built around a devastating left hook, Zhang pushes forward relentlessly to wear opponents down with boxing combinations and spinning attacks.
