Full Card Revealed For ONE Friday Fights 115 On July 4
This Friday, July 4, the world’s largest martial arts organization will touch down at the historic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok with a 12-bout fight card designed for entertainment.
ONE Friday Fights 115 features three different combat sports disciplines and elite fighters from all reaches of the globe, giving fans plenty of reasons to tune in.
In the main event, surging Thai destroyer Rambong Sor Therapat hopes to score his eighth straight win and secure a six-figure contract when he squares off with dangerous knockout artist Suriyanlek Por Yenying in a 132-pound Muay Thai contest.
After going 1-2 through his first three appearances at ONE Friday Fights, the 28-year-old Rambong has looked unstoppable, employing his heavy hands and clean technique to emerge as a rapidly rising star.
For his part, Suriyanlek is a bona fide finisher, earning a stoppage in six of his seven ONE victories. But after going 1-2 across his last three bouts, the Thai fan favorite is determined to prove that he’s the man deserving of a US$100,000 contract and spot on ONE’s main roster.
Lower on the card, 22-year-old phenom Hern NF Looksuan will take on his Thai compatriot Chatpichit Sor Sor Toipadriew in a 113-pound Muay Thai clash that promises to be a striking fan’s delight.
Hern boasts an incredible 43-3 career slate that includes a trio of dominant wins at ONE Friday Fights.
He hopes to keep his momentum going, but he’ll have to get past the battle-tested Chatpichit, who is 4-2 at ONE Friday Fights and owns all the technical skills needed to become a mainstay on ONE’s global roster.
Also, fans won’t want to miss the intriguing bantamweight MMA showdown between Argentina’s Lucas “Tazmania” Ganin and dangerous promotional newcomer Ayumu Yamamoto. Both athletes are skilled ground fighters and ruthless finishers.
After compiling a near-flawless record on the South American regional circuit, Ganin made his ONE debut in April at ONE Friday Fights 103, needing just 30 seconds to decimate Harlysson Nunes with a wild flurry of punches.
The 27-year-old Yamamoto, meanwhile, brings a 100 percent finishing rate into this contest as he looks to make waves on the global stage.
Finally, the card will kick off with world-class Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belts Shoya Ishiguro and Denny Sisti locking horns in a bantamweight submission grappling tilt.
Both athletes possess ultra-aggressive, submission-hunting approaches to grappling that should produce nonstop, fast-paced action for as long as their matchup lasts.
